How the JATCO Environmental Tank Works
The JATCO Environmental Tank is installed beneath waste-producing equipment, allowing waste liquids to flow into the tank by gravity instead of contaminating the surrounding area. Once the tank reaches capacity, a float-operated three-way valve automatically uses available gas pressure to discharge the collected liquid to stock tanks for proper recycling or disposal. After the tank is emptied, the valve closes, gas pressure is vented, and the tank is ready to collect waste fluids again.
With very few moving parts, the system provides dependable, low-maintenance operation while utilizing normally available gas pressure as the pumping force.
Applications
JATCO Environmental Tanks are ideal for collecting waste fluids from:
- Waste fluid from glycol dehydrators
- Lubricating oil and used engine oil from gas compressors
- Packing leaks from centrifugal and reciprocating pumps
- Packing leaks from oil well pump jacks
- Overflow or vent lines
- Waste liquid from flare lines
- Storm water runoff from equipment skids
- Distillates pumps
The J-5000 is a 10 gallon tank and will handle 310 gph, and can be configured to meet any standard or application that our customer may need.
